The 6″ x 2″ CC Stout HD kingpinless swivel with built-in brake has the same polyurethane as the CC Apex and CC Stout but has the slightly-crowned tread like the CC Stout. Because of this, you still have some of the benefits of this polyurethane mix (over harder wheels), which gives you higher noise reduction, grip/maneuverability, and an opportunity for the rebound resilience to work.

There are important differences between the CC Stout HD and the CC Apex. With the CC Stout HD, you arent able to utilize the donut tread of the CC Apex for debris and noise. The iron core normally becomes less aesthetically pleasing than aluminum through the life of the caster as well. Both of these casters give you options, so make your selection based on your needs.
